The Lilac Tree!
The results are in, and the winner of the Charity Funding Challenge is The Lilac Tree, an organization that provides resources for divorcing women, providing education, support and guidance to women in the divorce process.
About the Charity Funding Challenge
Last year, Family Lawyer Magazine created the Charity Funding Challenge in order to increase awareness and support the efforts of several worthwhile divorce related charities. Family Lawyers were encouraged to nominate their favourite divorce related charitable organizations and vote for the one they felt was most worthy of receiving the $1,000 cash donation and $5,000 in marketing services from Divorce Marketing Group, the publisher of Family Lawyer Magazine.
Divorce Marketing Group , Divorce Magazine, and Family Lawyer Magazine wish to congratulate The Lilac Tree on their $6000 win. We would also like to thank Family Law Attorney Jay Frank of Aronbergh Goldgehn for having nominated The Lilac Tree as one of the charities in this challenge.
About The Lilac Tree
The Lilac Tree prepares women with individual information sessions, equipping them with legal and financial knowledge, as well as preparing them emotionally for what is to come. They also hold divorce workshops and seminars based out of Chicago that focus on topics like the roles of the divorce team (attourneys, mediators and financial planners), how to help children through divorce and co-parenting, career transitions, stress reduction, and much more. The Lilac Tree also offers free referrals to divorce professionals like attourneys, therapists, career counsellors, financial planners, and many others.
