Jude Egan

Jude Egan (Ph.D., JD) is a certified Family Law Specialist certified by the California State Bar Board of Legal Specialization. He graduated law school from the UC Berkeley School of Law in 2004. While working at a major international law firm in San Francisco doing civil litigation and land use work, Dr. Egan wrote his doctoral dissertation on jurisprudence and social policy. He has taught disaster law, business law, and federal and state entitlements at the Louisiana State University, E.J. Ourso College of Business. He was commended by the National Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster for his work drafting the National Nonprofit Relief Framework for a policy paper ultimately adopted by the Centers for Disease Control. Dr. Egan has litigated over 1,000 family law cases of all different types and has been published internationally in numerous legal, trade, and academic journals. His practice serves English and Spanish-speaking clients in Santa Barbara and San Louis Obispo counties.
